The kids have been working very hard raising chickens and turkeys this summer. They are doing an excellent job.
Our poultry is raised on our family farm in a large pasture when there is lots of space for early morning sunbathing, places to scratch in the dirt, spacious areas to wander around and eat grass and bugs and a large shed where they can come and go as they please. They are fed a free choice diet of barley and poultry feed. We use no growth hormones or antibiotics in raising them.
Chickens are available now and through the fall. Turkeys will be available in October & November. There is a limited supply of Turkeys so pre-ordering is recommended.
Pick-up is available here on the farm by appointment or at our stand at the Potsdam Co-op on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of Sept., Oct., & Nov. Pre-ordering is appreciated, especially if you are placing a large order. Call us at (315) 268-0870 for more info, ordering, etc.
